Sophie Beaudoin, CCxA /CA

From Blue Stick Garden to Blue Stick Forest, 30 years of meaningful joy and beauty.

CCxA developed a ‘substantial body of work that is often daring in scope while earnest in execution’ (Marc Treib). Between the sparks and the shovel, how those bold ideas has been conceived, received and how can they landed and be constructed has they were first envisionned. Throught all the ingredients of that ‘secret Sauce’ we will take a closer look at the pertinence of CCxA’s projects throught the new paradigmes induced par society shifts and global challenges of the upcomming eras.

Since 2011, Sophie Beaudoin has been a partner at the influential and globally renowned landscape architecture ûrm CCxA (formerly known as Claude Cormier et Associés). She began working there in 2003 as one of the ûrst collaborators of the ûrm’s founder and landscape architect Claude Cormier. With over 30 years of professional experience, she leads signiûcant projects across Canada, including Dorchester Square & Place du Canada and The Ring in Montreal, the esplanade for the Canadian Museum of History, and the National Holocaust Monument in Ottawa, which won an architectural competition.
