The theme of the 26th lecture series will be AFFORDABLE HOUSING. It will focus on current challenges in urban housing within the European and Czech contexts. The series will present progressive approaches in the field as well as specific projects that actively respond to the housing crisis, rising real estate prices, gentrification, and changes in household structures.

During seven evening lectures, experts from leading European cities such as Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Zurich, and Helsinki will present innovative approaches to affordable, sustainable, and community-oriented housing. The program will focus on cooperative and community-based projects, forms of collaboration with developers, regulation of the real estate market, and new housing typologies such as co-housing, micro-apartments, tiny houses, shared housing, mobile homes, temporary housing, and container/modular construction.
